Hello, I'm Chris Kummer.
I've always been interested in and passionate about movement and health since an early age.
Teaching teachers for over twenty years, I now want to make these skills and knowledge available to all practitioners.
The AnatomyShow courses offer you access to my combined insights through online courses and live workshops.
You can learn with me by attending live events, selecting an online course or in one-on-one sessions.

I created the Anatomy Show as a go-to source for fascia-based yoga anatomy education and training through online courses and live workshops.
My fascination with the moving body began early. While in primary school I was diagnosed with scoliosis - the sideways curvatures of the spine. A few years saw me try out various medical devices without results. Eventually my back was straightened out through regular yoga practice, prescribed by a physiotherapist. That was the beginning of my interest in both movement and healthy training approaches.
This curiosity prompted me to study medicine in order to find out more. I studied natural medicine when I did not get the answers that would help me train and practice better. My quest was how to improve a living body. Now I was happy!
As a naturopath, my views were strongly influenced when I was fortunate to practice with and learn from a number of specialists dedicated to balanced structure and function of the body from a soft tissue and fascia perspective.
A yoga school I was practicing at asked to share my knowledge with their teacher trainees in 2000. This was the beginning of the Anatomy Show.
Hundreds of training and workshops around the world later, I feel it’s time to make these ideas and knowledge even easier to learn.
During my studies I often wished for a replay button to watch and listen again to understand more. Now with these AnatomyShow courses it’s possible!
What I'm offering you:
My passion for everyone's wellbeing has inspired the development of three broad categories I'm offering my skills and knowledge in.
Online courses, in person teaching, and private sessions and consultations.
Online Courses
My online courses cover all aspects of movement anatomy for yoga practice and any kind of sport and exercise. The principles of a fascia-based body can be applied to improve and transform your practice into a sustainable healthy one.
Courses range from short, topic focused to full multi-modular certification courses.

Live Teaching
I love teaching and interacting with people live. Live teaching of entire modules of yoga teacher trainings, shorter workshops, and yoga classes are part of what I offer.
Both in-person and live-online teaching are part of what I offer and deliver worldwide.
Take a look at the events page by clicking below, or contact me to inquire or schedule an event.
Private Sessions
This is where the real effective work happens. Learn, practice, transform and realign your body and practice with one-on-one or small group sessions.
My unique combination of being a naturopath, yoga teacher and anatomy specialist allow me to target and suggest specific individual practices and applications.

I believe yoga, and physical practices in general, need to be taught to the individualā€™s uniqueness in body and abilities, rather than by generalizations.
Classes and instructions are based on accessing, exploring and working with individual strengths and freedoms.
My knowledge of fascia, anatomy and physiology are key influencesĀ how I sequence and teach each class.
Connect with me for bringing yoga anatomy to your studio, get support for your movement practices, or inquire about workshops.
[email protected] gets you in touch with me directly to ask your question.
